I was uncertain that it would be compatible with the 2nd gen. iPod Touch as some people had mentioned in their reviews that some products, though advertised to be compatible, did not work properly with their iPod. I found that both chargers (car/wall) function as advertised. Item shipped/arrived as expected and works great. Sure beats the $30 wall charger from the apple store as I now have one for the car to boot for one low price. Look at it this way, you can buy three of these things for the same price as one individual wall charger from the apple store and you still wouldn't have a car charger. In my opinion, it's a no-brainer.
