(More customer reviews)Pros: perfectly functional; all the openings line up perfectly with 5G ipod nano; earbuds and charging cords fit with this cover on; provides good protection; not too bulky; attractive & simple; velcro closure; you can flip the cover backwards and use the velcro to hold it open, too; fits on a docking station (don't need to remove the case); camera opening.
Cons: No loop to attach to a belt, etc. or to attach a clip to (so you can hang it off a belt loop, purse, etc.); no clip to attach it to something ( It has to be carried in a pocket, your hand, etc.); in situations where you can't velcro the leather cover open (ie on a docking station) the cover constantly flips forward so you can't see the screen.
Other info: The top screen area is covered with clear plastic while the round control area is open.I don't know if it's leather or not.

Ipod nano covers are made from silicon that is flexible, washable and reusable. I also like to have purple skin on my ipad to offer protection from scratches and any other sort of damage.
